Sad morning at the squadsongs offices. If you're friends with someone who went to Camp Virginia as a young boy, or even as an old boy in my case, you may have heard that this incredible institution is "permanently" closing its gates. In memoriam, I will post a series of songs that were once the "Song-of-the-Summer" at one point or another. Some will be squaddy, others will be girly as hell, but that's a boys camp for ya. Additionally, I'll post some classic CV tunes. RIP CV, and Thanks-a-Lot
Old Crow Medicine Show- "Wagon Wheel"
RHCP- "Make You Feel Better", as played on the "Waking with the Bakers" Radio Show
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros - "Home"
The Head and the Heart - "Lost in my Mind"
Grace Potter and the Nocturnals "Paris" (Oo La La)
Tallest Man on Earth "1904"
Old Crow Medicine Show "James River Blues"
Sigur Ros "Festival"
"When the Roll is Called Up Yonder"
Mario Lanza- "Lords Prayer"
